Special opening hours
On Wednedsay May 16, the Day before Ascension Day, the Main Library and branch libraries are open from 10:00 to 17:00. The Mobile Library operates until 13:30.
On Thursday May 17, the Ascension Day, libraries are closed.

Opening hours in May
The Main Library is open from 10:00 to 20:00 on weekdays. On Saturdays the Library is open from 10:00 to 16:00. On Sundays only the Reading Room is open, from 12:00 to 16:00.

VHS tapes to DVD and editing options
Lahti City Library patrons may now convert their old VHS tapes to DVD at the Library. This service is free of charge. In addition to VHS tapes, C cassettes, LP records, slides and photo negatives may also be converted to digital format. As of October, patrons may also edit their video recordings and photos. The space and equipment can be reserved for 1-4 hours at a time. First time users get help from the staff.
